So here's a new one on me: Green Funerals. I actually just want to be added to the compost heap in the backyard but the TRPA doesn't allow it. My kids didn't think it was a good idea either. How about cremation? Seems the most ecologically sound and then they can stick me on the mantle and dress me up for Christmas.

Yes! go green.

There are green cemeteries too!

They call it "Natural Burial Preserve" http://naturalburial.coop/USA/

I plan on having any usable organs donated and then cremate the rest. I'm used to burnt leftovers anyway.

Yeah, well don't start there, just 'cause you're almost done for the semester!

I have decided to leave my original blog posts since it is too difficult to try and change everything right now. I have begun my New Year sick in bed; no I haven't bought anything Chinese or otherwise since when one is sick, one doesn't shop at all. I will continue my ban on Chinese products and will share my discoveries as they come up.
